, Warren Buffett announced his plans for a successor of the Berkshire Hathaway company. Buffet is currently the CEO and chairman of the said company. He told the details of succession planning in his annual shareholder letter last week but he didn't name the successor. Who would be his successor?
The company's investors have long worried about who will replace Warren Buffet as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Berkshire Hathaway. The board of directors of the company were enthusiastic about the successor it has picked. But names were not yet officially announced.
In Warren Buffets' annual shareholder letter, he said that he has no plans to step down from the company. He said in the letter that he is in "excellent health" and is not "going anywhere". That's why investors should not be worried about the succession plan. According to his eldest son, Howard Graham Buffet, he won't leave the company "until he's buried in the ground".
