This year's Celebration marks the 25th Anniversary of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer. It also affords an opportunity to celebrate the significant benefits brought about by the Montreal Protocol, specifically, the reduction of the production and import of ozone-depleting substances by over 98%, which has placed the ozone layer firmly on the path to recovery.
All DepEd officials, personnel and staff and pupils/students from both public and private schools are encouraged to participate in this celebration by conducting activities which will promote the protection of the ozone layer.
