The Philippine Association for Teachers of Educational Foundations (PATEF) will conduct its 2012 National Convention with the theme, " The Philippine Education System: Updates, Directions and Implications to Teacher Education” on July 5-7, 2012 at the Bayview Park Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Manila.
This Convention aims to provide a venue to: - update the participants on the current issues and directions of the Philippine Education System;
- draw implications on teacher education from the discussions on curriculum, instruction, assessment and research; and
- share insights and best practices on how to improve teacher education in the Philippines.
The target participants to this Convention are teachers, educators, administrators of teacher education institutes (TEIs), basic education teachers, and other stakeholders in education.
