2011 Mid-Year National Convention of the Philippine Association for Teachers of Educational Foundations (PATEF)

The Philippine Association for Teachers of Educational Foundations (PATEF) based at the Philippine Normal University (PNU) will conduct the 2011 Mid-Year National Convention with the theme "Internationalizaton: Key to Global Competitiveness”. This activity will be held on November 25-27, 2011 at the Palawan State University Performing Arts Center, Tiniguiban Campus, Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The convention aims to:

1. acquaint the participants with the trends, processes, and practices in internationalizing educational institutions for global competitiveness;
2. develop their actions plans to conduct research possible for international publication and other actions to help them improve their institutions to reach its target level of internalization; and
3. provide them an opportunity to reflect on the implications of internalization in producing globally competitive individuals and in improving education across levels tob at par with international benchmarks.
   

The participants to be invited are the teacher educators, administrators of Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs), basic education teachers, and other stakeholders in education.

The registration fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP3,500.00) which is inclusive of convention kit, snacks, and lunch will be charged to each participant. The active members may avail of the ten percent (10%) discount upon
presentation of their membership IDs.
