PhilHealth Case Rates Payment System Circular No. 11 Amends Simplified Reimbursement Scheme (SRS) Under PhilHealth Circular No. 44 s. 2009

This PhilHealth Circular is being issued in light of the recent effectivity last September 1, 2011 of PhilHealth Circular Nos. 11, 11-A and 11-B s. 2011 implementing the `New PhilHealth Case Rates' which aims to provide optimal financial protection through a consistent and fixed rates of benefits as well as efficiency in claims processing.

Upon the effectivity of the `Case Rates System', the same shall thereafter be applied in the processing of claims in lieu of the `SRS'. All other claims pertaining to cases not covered under the `Case Rates' shall still be processed under the `Pee-For-Service Payment Scheme'.

All other pending transactions initially processed under the `SRS' including but not limited to accounts receivable application (ARA), return to hospital (RTH) claims shall be processed under the `SRS' scheme accordingly.

This Circular supersedes PhilHealth Circular No. 44 s. 2009 on the `SRS' and all other related issuances and orders inconsistent herewith.
