34th National Convention of the Career Development Association of the Philippines (CDAP), Inc.

The Career Development Association of the Philippines (CDAP), Inc. will hold its 34th National Convention with the theme, "Positioning Counselors as Strategists and Trailblazers in the Career Development of Students" on September 7-9, 2011 ath the CSB Hotel, Arellano Avenue, corner Estrada St., Malate, Manila. The convention will consist of two (2) workshops. In both workshops, the participants will be able to:

1. realize their role as strategic planners and generate relevant career development interventions;
2. know local and international career trends and employment situations;
3. know how to assess the strengths and weaknesses of their institutions/organizations;
4. think and plan out of the box;
5. design innovative career intervention programs; and
6. create career development theories such as Whole Brain Thinking Theory or Planned Happenstance Theory of Career Counseling.

The participants to this convention are career guidance counselors from both public and private institutions.

A registration fee of Five Thousand Pesos (PhP5,000.00 shall be charged to each participant to cover expenses for convention kits, certificates, meals and snacks, facilitators' fees, and handouts.
