STEPS ON HOW TO CONFIGURES GPRS (WAP, MMS) SETTINGS OF Nokia 3220 FOR GLOBE

Nokia 3220 WAP Over GPRS Settings
  1. Go to Menu > Settings > Configuration settings > Default configuration settings > Personal
    configuration (*press Options) then select Set as default > Personal configuration settings > Press
    *OptionÄAdd new > Services. Enter details for the following parameters:
    • Account name: myGlobe GPRS
    • Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp 
    • User name: <none>
    • Password: <none>
    • Access point settings:
      • Proxy: Enable
      • Proxy address: 203.177.42.214
      • Proxy port: 8080
      • Data bearer: GPRS
      • Bearer settings:
        • GPRS access point: www.globe.com.ph
        • Authentication type: Normal
        • User name: <none>
        • Password: <none>
  2. Go back to Menu > Services > Settings > Configuration settings > Configuration > Personal       
    configuration > Account > myGlobe GPRS  then select "Home”. 
Nokia 3220 MMS Settings
  1. Go to Menu > Settings > Configuration settings > Default configuration settings > Personal
    configuration (*press Options) then select Set as default > Personal configuration settings > Press
    *Option > Add new > Multimedia message. Enter details for the following parameters:
    • Account name: myGlobe MMS
    • Server address: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
    • Access point settings:
      • Proxy: Enable
      • Proxy address: 203.177.42.214
      • Proxy port: 8080
      • Data bearer: GPRS
      • Bearer settings:
        • GPRS access point: mms.globe.com.ph
        • Authentication type: Normal
        • User name: <none>
        • Password: <none>
  2. Go back to Menu > Messages > Message settings > Multimedia messages > Configuration settings > Configuration > Personal configuration > Account > myGlobe MMS.
