27th Annual Dance Educators Convention-Workshop

The Dance Education Association of the Philippines (DEAP), Inc. will hold the 27th Annual Dance Educators Convention-Workshop with the theme "Capturing the Pinoy Spirit of Excellence in the Preservation and Dissemination of Our Cultural Heritage in Dance” on May 12-15, 2012 at the University of Baguio, Baguio City.
The Convention-Workshop aims to:
  1. hold a forum to discuss issues and concerns relevant to dance education in the school curriculum and promote awareness of the Filipino spirit of excellence through innovative ideas and strategies for effective dance leadership; and
  2. provide the participants with experiences in the learning and teaching of folk and ethnic dances.
The participants to this activity are the supervisors, administrators and teachers in the elementary, secondary and tertiary levels, dance teachers/instructors, dance directors, choreographers and dance enthusiasts from related disciplines.

Each participant shall be charged a registration fee of Three Thousand Three Hundred Pesos (PhP3,300.00) to cover honoraria of resource speakers and dance instructors, handouts, music and CDs, certificates, food and accommodation for four (4) days and other expenses incident to the holding of the Convention-Workshop.
