The Philippine Academy of Physicians in School Health, Inc. (PAPSHI)
will hold its 12th National Annual Convention with the theme,
"Establishing the Standards for Effective School Health Program
" on May
16-17, 2011 at the Bayanihan Center, Pioneer St., United Laboratories,
Inc., Mandaluyong City.
Generally, this activity aims to improve the delivery of school health services to all educational institutions. Specifically, it focuses to:
- establish the clinical guidelines on commonly encountered medical problems in schools;
- set the minimum requirements for school clinic to include size, location, facilities, equipment and supplies; and
- prepare a proposal on clinic staffing to accrediting groups, school administrators and government departments.
The participants to this activity are the school health officers or nurses, school heads or administrators of both public and private schools.
