Are there really classes on June 12?

According to the Department of Education (DepEd), June 12 is one of the listed holidays for the school year 2015-2016. It means that there will be no classes on June 12.

Other national holidays in the Philippine in which there will be no classes are:
  • August 31, 2015 (last Monday of August) - National Heroes Day
  • November 30, 2015 (Monday) - Bonifacio Day
  • February 19, 2016 (Thursday) - Chinese New Year
  • February 25, 2016 (Wednesday) - EDSA Revolution Anniversary
Elementary and high school departments may also observe local holidays in which there will be also no classes.

Again, in June 12, there will be no classes.
