International Education Colloquium: A Series of Lectures

The Department of Education (DepEd), in coordination with the SEAMEO¬INNOTECH wi11 host the "International Education Colloquium on Series of Lectures" to honor the past education leaders. The launching activity is the Victor Ordonez Memorial Education Lecture on January 18, 2012 at the Bulwagan ng Karunungan, DepEd Central Office, Pasig City.
The first of the series will highlight the following:
  1. Short video and soft launch of the Victor M. Ordonez (VMO) website; and
  2. Presentation on "Better School Leadership: Revolutionalizing, Transforming and Innovating the Educational System" by Dr. Sheldon Schaeffer.
Regional directors (RDs), schools division/city superintendents (SDSs), principals of selected private and public schools, representatives of associations of elementary and secondary schools, key personalities of donor agencies and other educational organizations, INNOTECH and the VMO Fides staff are encouraged to attend the half-day lecture. The program for the lecture is contained in the enclosure.

All expenses related to this activity shall be charged to Human Resource Training and Development (HRTD) Funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
