Visit of the Ship MV LOGOS HOPE

The Captain and crew of the MV Logos Hope announces the coming of the ship to Manila for the very first time and will be open to the public from February 16 to March 14, 2012. The MV Logos Hope started to sail in February 2009 from Denmark and has visited more than 57 ports in more than 40 countries, welcoming over 2,080,269 visitors onboard. Its mission is to promote international understanding and worldwide education. Its sails internationally to bring knowledge, help and hope to the nations of the world.

The largest floating bookshop in the world is onboard the ship. Thousands of titles covering a wide range of subjects, such as science, sport, hobbies, cookery, the arts, philosophy, technical, children's books, dictionaries, Christian literature, among others are on display and for sale at low prices.

Besides the onboard bookshop and conferences, various schools are also received onboard the ship. The pupils/students will have a 45-minute interactive program specifically aimed at children from the ages of 5-12 years old, free of charge. After the visit, they are welcome to browse through the bookfair, before returning back to school. The MV Logos Hope Teams are sent out to visit few schools which are not able to visit the ship in or around Metro Manila.

Moreover, the MV Logos Hope invites everyone to its Official Opening in Metro Manila at South Harbor at 10:00 a.m. on February 17, 2012. The schedule for the MV Logos Hope while in Manila is as follows:
