The University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) will conduct its National Mentoring Conference with the theme " Shaping Young Minds and Hearts (Towards Integrative Coaching, Counseling and Mentoring) on September 13-14, 2012 at the University of Asia and the Pacific, Pasig City.
The Conference aims to: - communicate to the participants from public and private high schools the role of coaching, counseling, and mentoring in the learners’ integral education;
- establish the relationship of mentoring vis-à-vis teaching and other school services such as coaching and counseling; and
- guide them in crafting an action plan in carrying out the basic tenets learned in the conference.
The target participants to this activity are school administrators, guidance counselors, homeroom advisers, and master teachers from both private and public high schools.
