Any way to repair scratches in the screen?

I have a single scratch on my screen about 1.5" long. I'm not looking for a polish to "remove" the scratch as that's simply not possible. However I've seen product in the past that was nothing more than a liquid that you would put on scratches (for example, eye glasses) that would fill the scratch and make it so it's doesn't refract light anymore thus...bye bye scratch, for the most part.

I suggest caution: all these products contain abrasives that remove the special finish that helps prevent finger prints. You may only do more damage to the display surface.

"It really depends on the type of material the touch screen is composed of (Glass, Acrylic, Gorilla Glass). I would suggest using a buffing agent that is specific to your type of device screen as to not damage it any further. These guys have it broken down by screen type so you might look into what they have or something similar from another manufacturer.
