Can't hear or be heard when making phone calls. I'm working on a 5 s which took a few knocks and needs the screen replaced. Another problem was that the user couldn't hear or be heard when making phone calls. I replaced the camera/ mic / earpiece cable as well as the earpiece and clip. That still didn't solve the problem.

Also are you sure you have the right speaker part? I have found that some suppliers send the 5g part instead of the 5s part and they do differ. The 5g has 2 contact points and the 5s has 4 also the flex cable should have 4 contact points as well."
