There's not much you can do to unlock an iCloud locked device. You will have to get the previous owner to unlock it for you (they can do this remotely). If you bought it through eBay, you may have some recourse with their returns process.

"Hello Carlos,

The only successful way to deactivate iCloud lock on a device, is to switch out the logic board. I have successfully done this a couple times. However, the price of a logic board might be more than you paid for the phone and this also deactivates the Touch ID. The home button will still work, however, the phone will not be able to program fingerprints to lock and unlock the device.

If you can find a ""for parts"" or ""used"" iPhone, same model that you just purchased, that does not have iCloud lock on it on Ebay, this would be the best option for you price wise.

Hope this helps!"

This is not deactivating iCloud is a logic board swap, only the buyer or the person whit original invoice of the iPhone can deactivate the lock butt Apple will not do that if it is in loss mode."

Try to find out the owner of the activation locked idevice, provide the Apple ID and password to bypass activation lock on iPhone. Without Apple ID and password, it’s difficult to remove activation lock on idevice,

"MY ICLOUD LOCKED phone was UNLOCKED!

I used a paid Unlock Your Apple Device, and it worked. It took the icloud lock off and I was able to register it under my icloud account.

I do not understand how so many so-called “knowledgeable” techs swear there is absolutely no way to bypass the icloud activation lock. There are many services that do it. Do the techs even research the technology out there? I am stunned that these experts have no clue. Even eBay has these services. What is wrong with you guys? Are you just trying to make people buy new phones? Disseminate misinformation? Why? eBay, Amazon, etc., all sell locked devices, and buyers can and do have them unlocked. If a non-tech person like me could find a way to get it unlocked on my own, by searching, then I just don’t understand why the Disinformation regarding this."
