Dropped camera now it won't turn on.

Dropped camera now it won't turn on. I have just purchased a used Sony rx100 Iv that will not turn on. The previous owner says the device was dropped and after that wouldn't turn on. Any idea what could be weong?

Did you turn it on and try it out before buying it? If not, then I would say that it was broken when it was dropped. Even if you did turn it on before buying it, it is still possible that it was broken when it was dropped.
