How can I fix a keyboard problem?

iPhone 5C keyboard will not type certain letters after screen repair. Everything else works fine except for the keyboard. It wont allow me to use the numbers button. Tried a hard reset. Did not work. What can i do?

Usually, the problem occurs after a screen has been replaced and the digitizer cable has not been seated properly. You have to ensure the correct sized screws fitted into the correct position. There are four screws holding down the shield that covers the display cables and if you mix them up then your shield and cover will not fit correctly and the cable connectors will move and cause digitizer and screen faults. Uisung #000 screwdriver you can easily remove and refit these screws, if you are unsure the bottom two are the smallest (1.3 mm screws) and then the upper left is slightly larger (1.7 mm screw) and the far right screw is the largest of them all (3.25 mm screw). You can prior to the removal use a coloured marker or pen and colour code the screws to the position they belong to, remember the two lowest screws (1.3 mm screws) are the same size so can be coloured the same. This should help resolve any problems with exchanged screens and cabling to screen faults. Thanks guys
