icons in windows 7 taskbar moving by themselves I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. Few days ago I pinned another one application to taskbar and moved it to the left side. But it moved to the right by itself! I tried to return it to the left side but it went to the right again.

As Synetech says, the key thing is pinning the app when its already running. Pinning shortcuts in the start menu does seem to fail sometimes.
