My iPhone says "charging is not supported with this accessory." Why?

I tried to connect my iPhone to my computer. Tried charging it through my wall outlet, my radio, the cable, and every iPhone charger i have. Plus I had my iPhone put to unlock, so i don't want to lock it again. Help me :( What do I do???

I am also having that error message, it says," charging is not supported with this accessory." I unplug my phone and plug it back in and the error message goes away and then a few minutes or seconds later it comes back. It charges my phone extremly slow too. I'm not sure what to do. Is there something wrong with my phone?

"'I think, I have found the initial way to charge your iphone.

1. Put your iPhone, iPod or iPad on charge.

2. Then Turn off your device.

3. Keep it off for hour and then turn it on, it will be charged 100%

Good Luck"

You may also have a damaged cable. If you put stress on the cable the ends, where the plugs meet the cable, start to wear and bend. when this happens the wires inside your cable may break or short out. Try using a cable that works on another device, if that works replacing your cable is the solution.

Not all aftermarket products are created equally....or properly. Some do not put out the correct "amps" required by your device and this might cause the message you are getting? I've noticed that you sometimes get what you pay for an item when it comes to aftermarket third party generic products...
