My laptop won't connect to wireless

I know this my seem like a long shot but try holding fn at the bottom left of your keyboard then hitting F3

First check if the WiFi card drivers are up to date and working properly. If they are then check the WiFi card is properly connected to the motherboard, and if it is connected well and still not working then you have to replace the WiFi card. here is the guide Alienware M14x R2 Wi-Fi Card Replacement

"i will assume u are using windows. can you see if the wireless card detects available connections?

if yes, uninstall the driver, re-scan for hardware (or re-start), windows will re-install the driver, try again or do a diagnostics first.

if not, run anti-virus software and also try wire (as already suggested by a previous answer) to see if you can get an ip to connect to the internet.

P.S It would be good to know the OS so when i answer i can give you more tips. e.g like run msconfig and disable all entries except microsoft.

Also start in safe mode with networking.

if you have windows 10 (i can give you the instructions to get in safe mode but i don't want to confuse u) so you can google for this so while at ur pc you can follow the instructions."
