What is the maximum amount of RAM I can put in the laptop?

What is the maximum amount of RAM I can put in the laptop? I am wondering what the maximum amount of RAM I can put into the laptop. I was wanting to get a 16 gb stick on top of the 4 gb integrated, so in total 20 gb of ram? Is this okay? Can the laptop support it? What would happen if it were too much?
