When I turn my Roomba on, it doesn't go forward anymore.

When I turn my Roomba on, it doesn't go forward anymore. Instead of going forward it spins around for a while and then starts to beep. Does anyone know how to fix this or what is causing it?

"Joey111 you did not tell us how many times your Roomba beeped. It does sound like a stuck bumper. You can try this first

1. Move Roomba away from any obstructions.

2. Press the bumper to feel for inconsistencies.

3. Clean the bumper from underneath using canned air or q-tips."

My Roomba had the 9 beep code. I read these answers. I removed the bottom cover to take a look. Everything was covered in dust. Cleaned it very well. Replaced the cover. The Roomba ran normally. Don't know if it will continue working, but it is less work than getting out a soldering iron. Try this first.

my Roomba started circling today so I cleaned 4 eyes ( sensors on the bottom ) with alcohol. problem solved.
