Nothing has changed. Tab is just slow. I didn’t read the gripe correctly. The unit charges just fine its just that response to input is slow (loading pages, apps, etc. Plays video just fine. Streaming video information like Ventusky weather is clunky and jittery and loads very slowly. (like the days of dial up) Galaxy tab A 8

I noticed one I found at my girlfriends house slowed right down after updating to the latest OS, before the update it seemed quite quick, but obviously had compatibility issues.

My Samsung tablet is slowl downloading. Just had fibre installed still the same. Speed check with tablet 25mbps download. Speed check with Huawei phone 100mbps all good. I suspect that the tablet is using the 2.5 Ghz frequency on the router to download and the phone is using the 5 KHz frequency on the router. I cannot find out how to check my tablet to check this. I am not a techi but do have some understanding.

Just to add, and this isn't an answer to your question, my galaxy a 10 is the same, massively disappointed with this tablet, had a cheap £60 tablet before which was far better, never get a Samsung again.
