Will the telephoto lens listed below be compatible with my NikonD40X? Will a Super 500mm/1000mm f/8 Manual Telephoto Lens be compatible with my Nikon D40X?

That lens will work in manual mode on the D40x, but will require a T-ring (for Nikon) to attach it. Expect to see a lot of purple fringing.
