Cannot fit the main body back to the rest of the assembly

Cannot fit the main body back to the rest of the assembly

The main body won't click back on. I mean the "gun" part with the trigger and motor, etc. won't attach back on to the "cyclone assembly". It's only made of Lego plastic so I don't want to force it for fear of it breaking. It's a stupid nuisance.
