Drainage hose keeps disconnecting

Drainage hose keeps disconnecting My dishwasher (Hoover HDP 1DO39X) developed a leak a few weeks ago, after some testing and investigation, I determined it was the drainage connection hose and the clips keeping it in place had come loose.

The worm gear clamp was obviously not tightened enough. I wouldn't put sealant in the hose because it could stiffen and douse a leak if it wasn't spread evenly. I would make sure it's tight, use a nut driver and tighten hand tight.

"Had the same issue, drain hose pipe kept coming off although used 2 x new Jubilee clips and they were very tight.

In the end ordered new hose and new clips from hoover £ 30 ish and that done the trick

Don't make much sense in that the original hose was in good condition and tight but hey ho…sorted now"
