"which type of frequency your wifi works on? 2.4 or 5 ghz?

If your router is syncing the two then there might be your problem (you should change the setting of your router to get out 2 ssid one for the 2,4 and one for the 5ghz and then you try to connect on one or the other to see which one works"

It’s the BT home hub smart setup. Go into advanced settings on the router and disable smart set up. Everything will work perfect after!

i made the stick “forget’ my router and reconnected and it worked

Don't know it's showing to me as well… even all the other devices are working fine on same network… anyone else who's facing similar problem today from India and any solution?

Same issue .. My solution was forgetting the network, resetting the firestick and reconnecting to the network again :) .. works fine now!
