How can I replace the short hose on Shark Rotator Lift-Away brushroll

How can I replace the short hose on Shark Rotator Lift-Away brushroll The short vacuum hose in the motorized brush head is split open and I’m losing suction. I’ve been able to take the entire mechanism apart but can’t access the hose to replace it. How does this get replaced? Thanks.
