"Most likely the problem is the switch.

Honda/Acura use a polarity reversing ground at rest power window system, same as the door locks.

When not rolling the windows, [at rest] both the leads going to the window motor are grounds, when the switch is pressed for up or down the ground is ""lifted"" off one of the leads and 12V+ is supplied, window rolls in one direction, when switch is rocked in the other direction the ground is ""lifted"" from the other lead and 12V+ is supplied to it, polarity reversing.

A simple test is to connect a 12V test light to the motor leads red/blue and red/yellow drivers side and blue/yellow and blue/green pass. side, [from drivers switch] it is blue/white and blue/red for pass. side at pass. switch, it does not matter which way test light is connected, test light should light up when switch is rocked in either direction.

You can also unplug the switch and supply 12V+ and a ground directly to the motors leads to roll the windows up or down.

If the windows move in one direction the problem is not the motors it is the wiring or lack of a ground or power because of the switch."

"I have a 2004 Honda CRV passenger front window goes up won't go down. Change master switch and passenger switch and the window regulator checked all the fuses still not working. Definitely confuse

Master switch does not work at all for the passenger window all other windows work. The driver side window switch works but only goes up not down. Any other suggestions?"

So on my window I went on eBay and found the window relay switch on the drivers side that is the master and now my window goes both up and down. It was not the regulator or motor. I put 12V on in both directions and it worked.

My window went down, but not up. A guy came along and said it' happened to him in a different make of car. It's a long shot, but it might work. He told me to turn on the ignition, but not turn the engine over. Try the up switch, then use the switch to make the window go down and up 3 times in a row. Try the up switch again. He said that I may have overloaded the circuit at one point and this was a reset sequence. It actually worked..!!
