Is it possible to replace just the glass itself?

Is it possible to replace just the glass itself? I have a crack on my note8 and have seen replacement glass up for sale can the glass by itself be replaced on this phone?

Only professional screen refurbishers can do this without damaging the screen.

You would need to replace the whole LCD screen assembly if you want to fix it."
