@badmomma there really is no reset. You need to unplug it and hold down the power button while it is unplugged. Do that for about a minute then leave it unplugged for another few (5-10) minutes. Then plug it back in. Your error sounds like a power issue (possibly failed power board, bad fuse etc.). You need to let us know if any of the LED's light up when you plug it in and/or turn it on. If there is not, you'll have to remove the back from your tV (unplugged of course) and take a look at the boards. Look but don't touch yet. Post some good pictures of all of your boards etc. with your question. That way we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that.

Hey same problem same TV all I do is press power. Unplug and replug power cord and wait. Sometimes it will turn on after 10 secs sometimes I have to hit power button again. Sounds weird I know but seriously try it. Idk what the defect is caused by but it's a real thing with the rca model. Also if u try my method and it doesn't work u have a bad board and need repair

A problem as indicated would lead me to check all the electrolytic capacitors on the power board. It can’t be a fuse or other hard failure as that would not allow it to come on at any time. It the large capacirots (some small) have a convex to, replace it. The must be convex or flat. They may also show signs of leakage on the bottom.

For me my problem was having things plugged into the HDMI port. TV will not turn on for setup if there are things plugged in, so make sure everything but the power cable is unplugged until it tells you to connect your devices during the setup. Hope this helps!
