Why are the blender blades not rotating?

The blender is plugged in, powered up, and properly assembled. However, when I try to run the blender with food in it, the blades do not rotate.

Alternatively, and equally possible, the screw holding the bottom together has become stripped (as happened to me). Unfortunately, it would seem, the company will not sell just the screw but insists you MUST purchase the entire bowl!

My nija professional 1500 watt is not working with the single cup. My cup light on the blender don't light up and don't mix anything. The big blender work though. So what could be the problem

I have the Ninja Master Prep. The 2 blade parts are loose and wont stay together so I figured out as quick solution I use a piece of twine in between the two blades and it keeps them together so they can both spin.

"I got exactly the same issue, my blender stopped to spin, and, I found the issue was in metal drive pin. I bough the one in the hardware store close to my house, and it cost my cents. Watch how I did repair of my blender in the '''Oster Ozterizer blender repair - small fix''' video.

You don’t need to much to fix it, just a screw drivers."
