2007 Foed Explorer was making a loud screeching sound on the right fro

2007 Foed Explorer was making a loud screeching sound on the right fro My 2007 Foed Explorer was making a loud like screeching sound on the right front side while i would be driving. Just the other day i was driving and my car just lost power and would not go.It was like when i tried using my brake it was air locked.I tried to go again and it would go a little way and stop dead short again.All the lights on my dash was lite up.What could be the cause of this?
