How do I fix this and how much would it cost

How do I fix this and how much would it cost Tv turns on normally, then after awhile it turns black and vertical lines go on the tv. Also the sound still plays. Is this a fixable problem for cheap?? What would be a good place to take this tv? ANSWERS:
