How to replace Bose SoundDock DC power cable?

How to replace Bose SoundDock DC power cable? The DC power cable to the rear of the speaker has been damaged. It appears to be part of the dock and not readily removable. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement cable and if so how I can reconnect/repair this? ANSWERS:
