LG Television 47lm7600 goes static and shuts down after short use?

After watching the television for a short period of time (5-60 minutes), it will go static and restart itself. I've opened the back panel and do not see anything that is noticeably wrong. I was thinking something may be wrong with the power supply, but I'm no wiz with electronics.
