My Hitachi ultravision won’t turn on . A red light shows up

My Hitachi ultravision won’t turn on . A red light shows up A red light comes on when I power it on. I have unplugged it and pressed the power button as suggested holding it for awhile and that did not work . Tv does not turn on ANSWERS:
