TV Flashes green light 10 times, blank and vertical lines
I found this tv next to the dumpster in my student accomodation, its a 39 TH-L39EM5A, and visibly it’s in good condition. I took it inside and when its plugged in there is a solid red light until you press the on button, it then flashes green 10 times. The screen will flash white for about half a second, before going to a blank black screen, but its stil on. Coloured vertical lines will occasionally appear and dissapear for a few seconds over the screen.

@preownedoyster it is important to know if it blinks when you plug your TV in or if it blinks when you turn the power on. The power LED blinking ten times is indicative of issues with the voltages on Sub 5V, Main 3.3V, DTV 9V or the Tuner Power and the board in question is the "A-Board". Also, make sure that your units fan and airflow is not inhibited. Once you have the back open, check the fans (if so equipped) and clean the unit if needed off all dust and debris. Start off by removing the rear cover and check for any obvious damage. Post some images of your boards with your question. That way we can see what you see. Use this guide for that.
