Vizio Smart TV app and power problems

I have had my Vizio Smart TV for about 8 months now, and it has been great up until this evening. I have noticed 2 problems with it so far. First off, I can no longer access the menu with all the smart tv apps. When I press the Vizio button on the remote, absolutely nothing happens, when it used to bring up the bottom menu with options like YouTube, Hulu, etc. All other buttons on the remote work perfectly.
