Why does my 55 inch lg tv keep switching on and off
I have a 55 inch lg and its started switching itself on and off like its stuck in a cycle . If I bang it on the back just above where the power cable goes in it works fine for a few days and then starts again. Whilst it's working everything works fine on it ,nice clear picture etc . Which part needs replacing to cause this issue . Would it be the power pack

highflyer2006 sure could be the jack but could also be to power board itself. If you let us know the model number for your TV we may find out something else. Tactile stimuli is most commonly effective with cold solder joints etc. Remove the back cover from your TV and take a look at it.
