Mga Ritmo ng Lahi Concert Tour

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Maharlika Artists and Writers Federation (MAWF), an association of artists and writers from the different regions of the country, in collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), different local government offices in Metro Manila and GMA-7 Network have organized the twenty (20)-day series of free concert tour entitled "Mga Ritmo ng Lahi” featuring Mr. Emil Sanglay, a multi-awarded composer-singer-arranger of the Metropop Festival and representative of the Philippines in the 2nd ASEAN Amy Festival held in Thailand, which will be held from the second week of June to September 2012.
The Concert Tour aims to:
  1. promote a greater awareness of Philippine arts and culture among the youth;
  2. impart positive values to the younger generations through music; and
  3. uplift the consciousness of the students on environmental and social concerns.
The pupils and students from both public and private elementary and secondary schools in Metro Manila are invited to watch the concert.
