National Seminar on Standard-Based Assessment and Grading, and Information and Media Literacy in Language Education

The Core Learning Solutions Asia Corporation will hold its First Back to Back National Seminar on Standard-Based Assessment and Grading, and Information and Media Literacy in Language Education on November 16-17, 2012 at the St. Hall, St. Scholastica’s College, Manila.
The Seminar aims to:
  1. explain to the participants the theory and practice of standard-based assessment and grading based on the DepEd K to 12 Framework;
  2. review their current assessment and grading practices; and
  3. plan for assessment reform by aligning standards, assessment, and grading.
The target participants for Day 1 are school administrators and teachers while the participants for Day 2 are language teachers such as English and Filipino teachers as well as school administrators and policymakers.

Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
