The Seminar aims to:
- explain to the participants the theory and practice of standard-based assessment and grading based on the DepEd K to 12 Framework;
- review their current assessment and grading practices; and
- plan for assessment reform by aligning standards, assessment, and grading.
The target participants for Day 1 are school administrators and teachers while the participants for Day 2 are language teachers such as English and Filipino teachers as well as school administrators and policymakers.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
