National Seminar-Workshop on the Teaching-Testing Connection

The Center for the Professional Advancement of Education (CPAE) will conduct the National Seminar-Workshop on the Teaching-Testing Connection with the theme "The Teaching-Testing Connection: Enhancing the Quality of Learning” on September 14-16, 2012 at the Executive Hall, RELC-NEAP, Palo, Leyte.
The Seminar-Workshop aims to:
  1. describe to the participants the relationship between teaching and testing, and learning;
  2. discuss the different types of tests, the main reasons for testing, and the ways tests can help maximize instructional effectiveness, particularly in the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum; and
  3. facilitate the construction of the different types of tests that are relevant to the teaching and learning processes.
The target participants to this activity are school administrators, supervisors, princip /school heads (SHs), coordinators and teachers from both public and private schools in all levels.
