National Seminar-Workshop on the Teaching-Testing Connection

The Center for the Professional Advancement of Education (CPAE) will conduct the National Seminar-Workshop on the Teaching-Testing Connection with the theme "The Teaching-Testing Connection: Enhancing the Quality of Learning” on September 14-16, 2012 at the Executive Hall, RELC-NEAP, Palo, Leyte.

The Seminar-Workshop aims to:

describe to the participants the relationship between teaching and testing, and learning;
discuss the different types of tests, the main reasons for testing, and the ways tests can help maximize instructional effectiveness, particularly in the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum; and
facilitate the construction of the different types of tests that are relevant to the teaching and learning processes.

The target participants to this activity are school administrators, supervisors, princip /school heads (SHs), coordinators and teachers from both public and private schools in all levels.
