WhatsApp may add new drawing tools soon, rolls out new animating emojis
WhatsApp is reportedly planning to add a few new drawing tools for images and videos. The Facebook owned platforms currently allows users to draw over a media but it does not allow you to change the pencil. Now, according to a report by WABetaInfo, the company is planning to add more pencil options in the edit section. WhatsApp recently started to roll out a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.22.3.5.Although the new editing tools are not available to the users, a few hints about the feature have been spotted in the recent update. According to the screenshots shared by the WABetaInfo, once the feature is rolled out, users will get two new pencils in addition to the one that is already available. The screenshots also reveal that the pencils will have a varying degree of thickness. In addition to this, the report also reveals that WhatsApp is also working on a feature that will allow users to blur images before sending them. For those who do not know, the blur feature is already available for iOS users and as per the report, the platform may release the feature for Android users as well.WhatsApp has also started to roll out new animating heart emojis for iOS users under the beta program. Currently, when users send a red heart emoji, they see an animation where the heart appears to be beating. The animation effect is only limited to the red colour heart emoji but a new report by WABetaInfo suggests that the Facebook owned platform has added animated effect to more emojis. WhatsApp currently has nine heart emojis including the animated one. It is worth noting that the features mentioned above are not available for the public as of now but it is expected that the features will be released for everyone in the coming updates.Follow Gadgets Now on  Facebook  and  Twitter.   For the  latest news,   tech news,   breaking news headlines and live updates checkout Gadgetsnow.comGN Awards - Vote for your favourite GadgetsFacebookTwitterLinkedinAdd commentStart a ConversationAll Comments (0)+0/3000Be the first one to comment.{"@context":"http://schema.org","@type":"NewsArticle","inLanguage":"en","mainEntityOfPage":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://www.gadgetsnow.com/tech-news/whatsapp-may-add-new-drawing-tools-soon-rolls-out-new-animating-emojis/articleshow/88977635.cms","url":"https://www.gadgetsnow.com/tech-news/whatsapp-may-add-new-drawing-tools-soon-rolls-out-new-animating-emojis/articleshow/88977635.cms"},"headline":"WhatsApp may add new drawing tools soon, rolls out new animating emojis","description":"WhatsApp is reportedly planning to add a few new drawing tools for images and videos.
