Support to the Federations of Supreme Student Governments (FSSG) for School Year (SY) 2011-2012

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 49, s. 2011 on the Mandated Programs, Projects and Activities of the Supreme Student Government (SSG) which identifies the establishment of Federations of Supreme Student Governments (FSSG) at the division, regional and national levels as ready mechanisms for student consultations and as sources of policy recommendations on various issues and concerns affecting the students, the Department of Education (DepEd) through the Center for Students and Co-Curricular Affairs (CSCA) has completed the organization of the FSSG at all levels for School Year (SY) 2011-2012 through elections which culminated during the 9th National Leadership Training for Student Government Officers (NLTSGO) held on November 4-9, 2011 at the Baguio Teachers Camp and Baguio City National High School. The following officers, who are also incumbent Presidents of their respective Supreme Student Governments in their schools, Division and Regional Federations, compose the National Federation of Supreme Student Governments (NFSSG) for SY 2011-2012:

The CSCA shall handle the programs, projects and concerns of the NFSSG and shall call upon its officers for consultations, meetings and other activities. Expenses shall be charged to OSEC Funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. Matters pertaining to the NFSSG and its officers shall be coursed through the CSCA as its Secretariat.

Travel and other expenses pertinent to their official functions shall be charged to local funds of the school, division and/or region subject to availability and pertinent accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

All regional directors (RDs), school division/city superintendents (SDSs) and school heads (SHs) are requested to support and facilitate the activities of all FSSG and its officers relative to DepEd and other related concerns.
