The river stretches way up to 4, 130 miles or 6,650 kilometers and is usually associated with Egypt since this is where the country’s civilization began.
It is called Ḥ’pī or Iteru, which is ancient Egyptian for “river”. Its name Nile, as well as en-Nîl and an-Nîl is derived from the Latin term Nilus and the Ancient Greek neîlos, which means “river valley”.Albeit it’s association with the country, this body of water connects through 11 countries:
