An international hackathon for programmers, designers, scientists, builders, makers, storytellers, technologists, and other creative minds, the NASA International Space Apps Challenge (or Space Apps) is now in its eighth year. Space Apps teams use free and open data from NASA to come up with creative solutions to problems and challenges on Earth and in space.
The NASA International Space Apps Challenge attracted more than 18,000 participants to more than 200 events across 75 nations the previous year. Space Applications is the world's biggest global hackathon that will occur more than a 48-hour time frame in urban communities all around the world from October 18 to 20, 2019.
