- update the participants on the Framework of K to 12 Curriculum and reflect its implications to the Tertiary Education Curriculum;
- relate the alignment of K to 12 Home Economics Competencies and Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Training Regulations as articulation of access to post-basic education opportunities-vocational or tertiary education or future job opportunities;
- provide the participants with a venue for the exchange of ideas on the Framework of K to 12 Home Economics Curriculum to address issues and concerns;
- assess the present situation of education sector and identify the potential challenges and concerned issues in Home Economics; and
- provide a forum for Home Economics educators in state colleges, universities and basic education toward the advancement of the profession.
Each participant shall be charged a registration fee of Four Thousand Eight Hundred Pesos (PhP4,800.00) to cover expenses for conference materials, Journal of the PAHESCU, Inc., tour at Hundred Islands, meals and other incidental expenses. Hotel accommodation at discounted price is arranged for the participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
