The screen-logic board connector cable just got loose most likely, I'll see if I can find a guide for opening your device. Could you post some close up pictures of the front/back/sides of the device so I can assist in getting it open?
"To be honest with that curved line in the LCD, I would say your LCD is cracked. That black area on the side looks like ""bleed"". I would examine the LCD through the glass. If you shut the tablet off or put it to sleep so the screen is dark, you can take a flashlight and look for cracks. Hair line fracture will tend to show up with a flash light or even in a very well lit environment. Sometimes looking at the screen from different angles helps to. If you don't see and fractures you can try to reseat the connector. Though it looks like the LCD is damaged to me.
You can try to locate parts for that tablet. I would say try ifixit.com or eBay. Your going to look for a display assembly. This will be both digitizer and LCD. You can also look here as well as YouTube to see if you can find a how to as far as replacement. If it looks like something you don't want or can't do, try a local repair shop. They will give you a quote and you can determine if you want to repair or replace."
